Wow, a couple getting married really racks up, don’t they? Engagement gifts, Bacherlorette party gifts, shower gifts and then a wedding gift? Its expensive to have friends getting married, isn’t it? So do you necessarily feel beholden to give a gift, or is this just something you really want to do? If you have other gifts in mind to give them for showers and/or the wedding, then send a great congratulations card.

Give a gift certificate to allow them to create a DVD slideshow that they can show at their wedding:http://www.bigmomentfilms.com
The great thing about those is that not only can they show it at the reception (or rehearsal dinner), but they get it on DVD and it becomes a nice memory, or even a family heirloom.

I like buying an eternity symbol for them. Its a small statue (about 8-10″ high) which has 2 connected infinity symbols. If you have a Tribal Voices store in your area you can get them there for under $40.

I know I’ve said this before and I stand by my answer, but a beautifully romantic engagement gift would be the book, The Princess Bride. Its a lovely read-out loud book and would go great with a picnic basket. Or if they aren’t readers, how about an ice cream maker.. its fun and its a together activity

I think it should be something that you know that no one else will give to them. I have a couple of friends that I have give gifts too that they loved. One of them I give two wine glasses that had a gift cert. in them to a adult resort. They said they had a blast. That was one of my wilder friends. Another i give a photo album that each page was a different year. It had a gift cert. for every year to get there photo taken. They loved it. Just something that u know they will enjoy. I’m sure you will pick something great.
Well i think the best Engagement Gift for a couple should be a romantic holiday tour. This one of the best gift because it will be so romantic for both to make their relation so strong. Anyways keep it up and keep continue.
Private Dance lessons are a great idea. I did these with my wife and we had such an unexpectedly good time. I recommend them to all!

Commercials these days have really become creative. I like the concept of not letting the viewer know what they are trying to advertise which prompts them to go view a website about it, Google it, etc. I like incorporating these marketing strategies in my own work here in Kansas City Missouri at

How about a balloon ride…it’s a unique experience, kind of original, something they can do together and something to talk about afterwords.
