What type of brushes are you using? I bought a nylon brush for a painting but most of the bristles ended up on the painting itself!!

Is it a brush issue or a health issue? I’ve been using it since Jan and my brushes seem fine. My CRI uses generic lard after each class to keep his brushes; he’s had student brushes for two years. I looked online and say no carcinegentic factors involved, so I didn’t know. (I don’t have my container anymore, it’s all in the bucket).
